Our Charities

The three charities we are supporting for 2015 are:

Lichfield Arts was established in 1974 and has been running community-based music events ever since. There are regular concerts at the Guildhall in Lichfield, the summer FUSE festival, the L2F folk festival, Jazz & Blues festival and the highly popular Winter and Summer Beer Festivals!

Lichfield Arts are keen to promote local talent and are delighted at the opportunity to receive some of the funds raised from Lichfield’s Got Talent competition. A number of Lichfield Arts volunteers have been helping out with auditions and will be doing the same at the Finals on 22nd March. Full details about Lichfield Arts can be found here.

The story of local boy Stephen Sutton was THE story of 2014. Lichfield’s Got Talent is proud to be supporting Stephen’s Story and raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust, to help other young people like Stephen.

Sherratts Wood is a Community Interest Company providing a range of inspirational activities for individuals who may have learning difficulties, mental health issues or physical disabilities.
We have recently secured a five-year lease from Staffordshire County Council to manage and operate Minster Hall (the former Youth Centre on Dam Street in Lichfield) to deliver our day opportunities and to encourage local community groups to provide a wider range of activities for the residents and communities in Lichfield.
Any community groups or organisations interested in hiring space in Minster Hall should contact Sherratts Wood on 01889 502662 to establish availability and hire charges.
Sherratts Wood is proud to support Lichfield’s Got Talent 2016.
